Early Years Impact & Evidence
At Heol Chwarae Rôl – Role Play Lane, we are committed to understanding community need and evaluating the impact of our work. This report brings together evidence from community surveys, family feedback, consultation activities and impact reporting to demonstrate how our early years provision supports children, families and the wider community.
The findings highlight the importance of accessible, inclusive and affordable opportunities for children to learn through play while enabling families to build connections, access support and participate in their community.
Child Poverty Strategy - Lived Experience Engagement Exercise Report:
Families told us about the realities of childcare costs, financial pressures, access to support and wellbeing. Discover the findings from our Child Poverty Strategy engagement work involving 228 beneficiaries from across South Wales.

Postcode analysis of 4,990 customer records shows families travelling from across South Wales to access Role Play Lane's inclusive activities, ALN provision and community support.

SPF Medium Level Impact Report
Thanks to funding from the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund, Role Play Lane has delivered over 1,600 role play engagements, 558 ALN engagements and hundreds of opportunities for local families over the past 12 months. Read more about the impact this funding has made.
