Musical Memories at Role Play Lane

This autumn, Role Play Lane was filled with music, movement, and joyful moments as we delivered Musical Memories, an early years music project supported by Tŷ Cerdd - Music Centre Wales.

Across six delivery days, babies and toddlers enjoyed Little Notes music sessions led by a classically trained musician - Lizzie. Delivered in our welcoming role play centre, the sessions offered a calm, engaging way for children to explore sound, rhythm, and movement. For toddlers, access to the role play village was included, allowing learning and play to continue beyond the music.

The project reached 72 families across 113 attendances, with growing demand as the weeks progressed and many families asking when sessions would run again. Musical Memories highlighted the value of high-quality early years music delivered in a trusted community setting, and we’re grateful to Tŷ Cerdd for helping us create these special experiences for local families.
